The Chanson Estate, located in the charming village of Beaune in the bourgeois wine region of Burgundy, is one of the oldest wine houses in the town. Established in 1750, the wine house has for many years been dedicated to the production of quality wine, produced from noble grape varieties. There is a strong emphasis on the use of artisanal craftmanship to create wines typical of the Côte de Beaune. The Chanson estate is home to 23.5 hectares of vineyards, spread over the slopes of Côte de Beaune and the West Coast. The majority of the vineyards are situated in the strategic areas of Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, and Volnay. The vineyards are planted with all the major Bordeaux grape varieties; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with a variety of top-quality old Burgundy varieties. Over the years, the wine house has developed modern winemaking methods to produce wines that are both powerful and aromatic, whilst preserving the exceptional taste one expects from a Chanson cuvée. All the wines from the Chanson Estate are aged in French oak barrels and mature between 10 and 18 months before they can be bottled. The wine house also offers a full range of sweet and sparkling wines, the champions of the estate. Each wine is the product of a unique combination of soil type, altitude, and sun exposure and has its own character and personality. The Chanson Estate is a high-quality house that produces classic wines. The wines are always fruity, balanced, and expressive, and each vintage has its own character and personality. The Côte de Burgundy/cote-de-beaune/beaune">Beaune is a key wine region in Burgundy, eastern France. It owes its name to its main town, Beaune - the epicentre of local wine production and trade. Renowned for producing some of the world's most expensive white wines (most of which bear the name Montrachet in one form or another), the region also produces a handful of Burgundy's finest red wines, including those from the premier crus Pommard and grand cru Corton. The Côte de Beaune is a narrow strip of land less than 5 kilometers wide, extending 25 kilometers to the northeast.
