Sub-region of northern Uruguay on the Brazilian border (Campagna), subtropical humid climate with long sunshine hours, deep draining red sandy soils. Tannat is the dominant signature red: structured with intense blackberry, plum, black cherry, tobacco, leather and a cocoa-spicy touch, firm tannins and full body.
