Salento DOC (1976) north of Lecce, at the heel of Italy. Negroamaro (≥70%) is the solar red signature, with intense notes of morello cherry, plum, blackberry, garrigue, tobacco and a balsamic-spice edge, round tannins and a warm finish. Malvasia Nera and Sangiovese (≤30%) add aromatic depth. Also as a generous rosato bursting with fresh red fruits.
