The wine region of Cheyres

Fribourg wine municipality of the Vully (Switzerland's smallest wine region, slopes of Mont-Vully between Lakes Neuchâtel and Murten), moraine terroirs. Chasselas dominant signature in a lively, refined white with delicate notes of white flowers, citrus, apple and a refined mineral-lacustrine touch. Freiburger (Freisamer) in an aromatic white with exotic fruits. Pinot Noir and Gamaret in supple reds with red fruits.

The wine region of Neuchâtel

Swiss vineyard on the western shore of the lake, 606 ha in the Three Lakes region. Signature Pinot Noir (55% of the vineyard, the local prince): fine, fresh reds with notes of cherry, raspberry, undergrowth and sweet spices, silky tannins. Specialty invented here: Œil-de-Perdrix, a delicate Pinot Noir rosé with salmon hues. Lively, mineral Chasselas (citrus, flint) in white, including the identity-marking Non-Filtré primeur.

The word of the wine: Amylic

Aroma reminiscent of banana, candy, and sometimes nail polish, particularly present in primeur wines. The amylic taste is reminiscent of the aromas of industrial confectionery and does not reflect a great expression of terroir.
