Discover the grape variety: Rubi

Light, simple fruity reds with a lightly coloured clear ruby colour, soft tannins and an airy palate with moderate acidity, showing undemonstrative aromas of red fruits. Discreet rustic profile. Almost extinct, preserved in INRAE varietal collections for its heritage value, a witness to the pre-phylloxera ampelographic diversity of the South-West and part of the heritage varieties under study. Rare French black variety, formerly grown in the South-West.

The wine region of Moscato di Trani

Apulian DOC dessert wine from the Adriatic coast (Trani, Barletta, Andria, Bari), sunny dessert wine. Signature Moscato Bianco (≥85%) — sweet and aromatic white with intense notes of muscat, honey, orange blossom, candied apricot, dates and a Mediterranean-sunny touch, velvety palate. Luminous golden-yellow colour. Available as Dolce Naturale (partial passito) and fortified Liquoroso with dried fruits.

The wine region of Puglia

Heel of the boot, 80% red vineyard, sunny and generous. Fleshy, jammy Primitivo (= Zinfandel) with notes of black cherry, plum, chocolate and spices, powerful alcohol and melted tannins, a star in Primitivo di Manduria. Deep, structured Negroamaro (black-bitter) with a bitter finish in Salice Salentino. Structured Nero di Troia, spicy Susumaniello.

The word of the wine: Ancestral method

A method of making certain sparkling wines such as blanquette de Limoux, sparkling gaillac or clairette de Die, which consists of a second fermentation in the bottle based on natural sugars and yeasts naturally brought by the grapes (unlike the méthode champenoise, which requires the addition of tirage liquor).
