On the coast, Bolgheri crafts the opulent Cabernet- and Merlot-based 'Super Tuscans'. Some fresh white Vernaccia.
The word of the wine: Herbaceous
Vegetable odour reminiscent of freshly cut grass and considered a defect of the wine.
