Discover the grape variety: Onchette
A very old grape variety that was once grown on the left bank of the Drac Valley in the south of the Isère department - Cordéac, Saint Jean d'Hérans, Saint Baudille et Pipet, ... -. Virtually unknown in other French wine-growing regions, it is very little propagated today, although it is registered in the Official Catalogue of wine grape varieties, list A1. According to Thierry Lacombe (I.N.R.A./Montpellier), it is the result of a natural intraspecific cross between the white gouais and the chatus, as is also the serenèze of Voreppe.

Victoria is a relatively small but important Australian wine state. Located in the Southeastern corner of the continent, with a generally cool, ocean-influenced Climate, Victorian wine is remarkably diverse, producing all sorts of wines and styles in different climates. It corresponds to a particular legislation: the freedom to use grape varieties is greater than for the AOC, but the quality criteria such as the approval tastings can sometimes be more demanding. The legislation is still evolving, but for the moment there are three levels: regional (e.g. Vin de Pays d'Oc), departmental and local (e.g. Côtes de Thongue).
