Complex interspecific crossing between 12375 Seyve-Villard (2 Eger) and Bouvier - a variety of Austrian origin - obtained in 1963 and in Hungary by Csizmazia Jozsef and Bereznai Laszlo. The Canelones administrative department, Northeast of the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo, is home to the majority of Uruguay's Vineyards and accounts for aRound 60 percent of all wine produced in the country.
