The wine region of Cricova
Central Moldovan region 15 km north of Chișinău, famous for its 120 km of limestone underground galleries, continental climate. Traditional-method sparkling wines are the historic speciality: fine and taut with notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers, brioche and a chalky touch.
