The wine region of Valles de Benavente is located in the region of Castille-et-Léon of Spain. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Otero or the Domaine Otero produce mainly wines pink, red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Valles de Benavente are Tempranillo et Verdejo, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Valles de Benavente often reveals types of flavors of red fruit.
We currently count 8 estates and châteaux in the of Valles de Benavente, producing 12 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Valles de Benavente go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
