The wine region of Valley de Calafia is located in the region of Valle de Guadalupe of North of Mexico. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Domecq or the Domaine Domecq produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Valley de Calafia are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Chenin blanc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Valley de Calafia often reveals types of flavors of earth, microbio or oak and sometimes also flavors of tree fruit, tropical fruit or non oak.
In the mouth of Valley de Calafia is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.
