The wine region of Gambellara is located in the region of Vénétie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Valfonda or the Domaine Menti Giovanni produce mainly wines white, sparkling and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Gambellara are Garganega, Merlot and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Gambellara often reveals types of flavors of citrus, citrus fruit or dried fruit and sometimes also flavors of spices, oak or microbio.
In the mouth of Gambellara is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 23 estates and châteaux in the of Gambellara, producing 47 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Gambellara go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, shellfish or mature and hard cheese.
