The wine region of Orvieto Classico is located in the region of Orvieto of Ombrie of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Barberani or the Domaine Decugnano dei Barbi produce mainly wines white, sweet and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Orvieto Classico are Chardonnay, Verdelho and Vermentino, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
