The wine region of Rosazzo is located in the region of Colli Orientali del Friuli of Frioul-Vénétie Julienne of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Le Vigne di Zamò or the Domaine Valentino Butussi produce mainly wines white, red and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Rosazzo are Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Rosazzo often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of vegetal, oak or tree fruit.
In the mouth of Rosazzo is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 8 estates and châteaux in the of Rosazzo, producing 34 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Rosazzo go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, shellfish or mature and hard cheese.

Treasury Wine Estates has expanded its footprint in the Yarra Valley in Australia by purchasing the 55-hectare Beenak Vineyard from Accolade in a deal worth AU$7 million. Plans have been approved for what will become Islay’s 12th Scotch malt whisky distillery. Laggan Bay is set to be developed by whisky bottlers and brewers The Islay Boys, in association with Ian Macleod Distillers.
