The wine region of Chaume is located in the region of Centre Loire of Loire Valley of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Château Pierre-Bise or the Château de la Roulerie produce mainly wines white, sweet and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Chaume are Chenin blanc, Cabernet franc and Négrette, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Chaume often reveals types of flavors of earth, oak or citrus fruit.
We currently count 9 estates and châteaux in the of Chaume, producing 10 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Chaume go well with generally quite well with dishes of rich fish (salmon, tuna etc), vegetarian or poultry.
