The wine region of Mâcon-Mancey is located in the region of Mâcon of Burgundy of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Henri de Villamont or the Domaine Chapuis produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Mâcon-Mancey are Chardonnay, Gamay noir and Pinot noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Mâcon-Mancey often reveals types of flavors of oaky, butter or microbio and sometimes also flavors of oak, strawberries or red fruit.
In the mouth of Mâcon-Mancey is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 9 estates and châteaux in the of Mâcon-Mancey, producing 16 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Mâcon-Mancey go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, vegetarian or cured meat.
