The wine region of Plesivica is located in the region of Continental Region of Croatia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Bura or the Domaine Korak produce mainly wines white, sparkling and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Plesivica are Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Plesivica often reveals types of flavors of cherry, black fruit or vegetal and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, tree fruit or floral.
We currently count 12 estates and châteaux in the of Plesivica, producing 63 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Plesivica go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or vegetarian.
