The wine region of Suhindol is located in the region of Danubian Plains of Bulgaria. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lovico or the Domaine Lovico produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Suhindol are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Suhindol often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of spices, red fruit or black fruit.
We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Suhindol, producing 40 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Suhindol go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
