The wine region of Upper Goulburn is located in the region of Central Victoria of Victoria of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Mount Terrible or the Domaine William Downie produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Upper Goulburn are Pinot noir, Roussanne and Marsanne, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Upper Goulburn often reveals types of flavors of cherry, microbio or vegetal and sometimes also flavors of tree fruit, tropical fruit or black fruit.
In the mouth of Upper Goulburn is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 8 estates and châteaux in the of Upper Goulburn, producing 16 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
