The wine region of Rose Valley

Bulgaria's Rose Valley between Stara Planina to the north and Sredna Gora to the south, protected microclimate shielded from extremes by the mountains, famous for its perfume roses. Red Misket as the signature white (pink-skinned grape): dry and aromatic with intense floral notes (rose, violet), citrus, tropical fruit, honey and a perfumed floral touch, preserved acidity — strong identity. Muscat Ottonel and Traminer as fragrant whites. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon as fleshy reds.

The word of the wine: Cuvée prestige (champagne)

Vintage or not, it is composed of a selection of terroirs and generally comes from the first press after eliminating the very first juices that come out of the press. The best known? Dom Pérignon, Cristal de Roederer, Grand Siècle de Laurent-Perrie, Louise at Pommery. In fact, all the houses and most of the independent winegrowers have their own prestige cuvee.
