Light, fruity reds with a clear ruby colour, silky tannins and an airy palate with fresh acidity. Signature aromas of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) and gentle spice. A confidential heritage variety. The wine region of Mosel

Kingdom of lively, crystalline Riesling: citrus, green apple, gunflint, tangy tension and signature slate minerality. From light, fruity Kabinett to off-dry Spätlese, up to sweet Auslese and Trockenbeerenauslese of rare finesse. Some supple Müller-Thurgau and lively Elbling. Steeply sloped vineyards (up to 65% at the Bremmer Calmont) on blue and grey slate, 5,400 ha of Riesling (61.

The word of the wine: Côte des Bar

This is the name given to the vineyards of the Aube, which are closer to Burgundy, and some of the wines produced here bear witness to this proximity. The pinot noir dominates, the meunier is practically absent. Two crus have become references: Riceys, where a rosé without bubbles is also produced, and Montgueux near Troyes, renowned for its Chardonnay.
