A very old vine, said to have originated in Greece. It is found in Spain, including the Canary Islands, in Portugal, including Madeira, in Croatia, etc., and is virtually unknown in France. The wine region of Morava

Moravia, with roughly 95 percent of the nation's Vine plantings, is the engine room of the Czech Republic's wine industry.
