Located in the heart of Spain, the Vega Sicilia Estate, an indisputable symbol of Spanish wine, is an internationally acclaimed vineyard highly reputed in the Ribera del Duero region. Founded in 1864 by Don Eloy Lecanda y Chaves, this estate is part of Spain's viticultural history and is considered one of the gems of wines produced in the region, both for the quality of its wines and its rich and unique history. Spread over 210 hectares, the Vega Sicilia Estate is a perfectionist when it comes to harmony between wine and its environment. It is convinced that the terroir and the microclimate unquestionably contribute to the exceptional quality of the wine, giving it a complexity and very distinctive character. That's why, on these lands bathed in the power of the Duero, each grape variety is judiciously selected, and each wine is aged with precision and meticulous attention. The Vega Sicilia Estate is recognized for its high-end red wines made primarily from the Tinto Fino grape variety. The estate produces three unique wines that are very appreciated for their elegance and intensity: "Unico", the flagship of the property, which benefits from the purest expression of the terroir, "Reserva Especial", a meticulous blend of several vintages of Unico and "Valbuena 5º", which exudes a remarkable aromatic richness and intensity. The philosophy of the estate can be found in each bottle; patient production, meticulous and respectful of nature. Each wine is traditionally vinified, then aged in barrel to become this high expression wine, incredibly elegant, with a complex bouquet and exceptional length on the palate, which makes the Ribera del Duero proud.
