Anchored in the heart of Serrières vineyards, this family property extends over more than 14 hectares, producing a rich and complex range of delicious wines that capture the essence of its unique terroir. The Domaine Vallet, built in the 19th century, has managed to maintain age-old winemaking traditions while adapting to modern vinification techniques. It is currently under the leadership of Bernard Vallet, who took over from his father Antoine, himself having inherited from his father before him. Continuing this grape-growing culture passed down from generation to generation, the Domaine Vallet produces authentic wines, with a strong character. The vines upon which the Domaine Vallet's wines are produced are planted on granitic and schistous soils, benefiting from ideal exposure to sunlight for grape ripening. The grape varieties used are Syrah for the red wine and Marsanne for the white, both typical of this northern Rhône region. The harvesting is done manually at optimal maturity, a guarantee of quality in winemaking. The vineyard produces several different blends, including red, white, and rosé wines. They are particularly renowned for their red wines of the AOC Saint-Joseph and Condrieu classifications, the wines of Domaine Vallet are distinguished by their aromatic intensity, power, as well as their finesse and elegance. From the Saint-Joseph red "Antoine Vallet" to the Condrieu white, each bottle reflects the unique expression of the Serrières terroir. Discover the grape variety: Marsanne

Marsanne is a white grape variety that originated in Montélimar in the Drôme, several centuries ago. Marsanne is also found in Cassis, Savoie, Languedoc-Roussillon and Saint-Péray in the Ardèche, where it produces remarkable sparkling wines. The warm, sunny climate of the Rhone Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence, as well as the dry, stony soil, are ideal conditions for its development. Its bunches are quite large and provide small, juicy berries that are sensitive to grey rot and strong winds. These two grape varieties complement each other perfectly: together they give light wines with little acidity, aromas of yellow fruit, white fruit and flowers with notes of honey and liquorice. This is for example what the appellations Saint-Péray, Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Côtes-du-Vallée du Rhône, Corbières, or Cassis express... which represent about 700 hectares.
