Dominant French hybrids: Chambourcin as ruby red king with cherry, blackberry, pepper and a smoky touch, supple tannins; Cynthiana/Norton full-bodied with wild berries and spice; Vidal Blanc and Seyval Blanc taut with citrus. Native Muscadine fruity and sweet. Cabernet and Chardonnay as vinifera.
