DOC in the Marche around Ascoli Piceno (hillsides 150–250 m, draining clay loams, Mediterranean, Sibillini mountains). Pecorino exclusive flagship white (≥85%): distinctly mineral with Mediterranean herbs, spices and lemon, lively refreshing acidity, delicate orange-blossom, straw and almond notes, structured palate, alc. ≥12°. A near-extinct grape replanted in the 1980s.
