Nearly extinct, preserved in a few Jura varietal collections, it testifies to the ampelographic diversity of the Revermont before phylloxera. Synonym of Béclan, a native black variety of the Jura.

More discreet reds: spicy Frankovka (Blaufränkisch) with black fruits, fine, silky Saint Laurent.
