A productive style mainly destined for Armagnac distillation. Grown in Gascony in the South-West. Not to be confused with Jurançon AOC in Béarn (Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Courbu). Signature Godello white king (native revival): ample and mineral with notes of white apple, pear, peach, fennel, white flowers and a slate touch, taut and lengthy palate — a great Spanish white capable of ageing. Mencía star red: fine and fresh with notes of black cherry, blackberry, white pepper, violet and mineral touch, fine tannins. Roman winegrowing cradle.
