An interspecific cross between NY88.0514.0184 and NY84.0101.03 obtained in 1995 by Bruce Reisch at the Experimental Station of Cornell University in Geneva (United States). It is found in some American wine regions, interesting for its resistance to the main cryptogamic diseases and for its wine in particular in the production of original rosés. In France, it is almost unknown.

The wine region of Kakheti
Kakheti is the most important wine region in Georgia in quantitative, qualitative and even historic terms. Almost three-quarters of the country's wine Grapes are grown here, on land that has been used for viticulture for thousands of years. Kakheti is home to some of the oldest human habitations in the entire Caucasus region, and archaeological findings have suggested that wine has been produced here for several thousand years.
