Resulting from a natural intraspecific crossing between the Savagnin and the Cauzette plant, the latter being close to the Tannat. It should be noted that it has very often been confused with the Saint Côme, it is true that we have noted some points of resemblance. Bouysselet is very old in the Haute Garonne, more precisely in Villaudric, where it almost disappeared, but has now been replanted to the great satisfaction of connoisseurs. The wine region of Rheinhessen
Rheinhessen is Germany's largest region for producing the quality wines of the Qualitätswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete (QbA) and Prädikatswein designations, with roughly 26,500 hectares (65,000 acres) of Vineyard">Vineyards as of 2014. White grape variety of Italian origin, and the main white variety grown in France. Its large bunches give fine, light and lively wines, suitable for distillation: today it is the main variety for making cognac and armagnac.
