The wine region of Grappa di Brunello

Tuscan spirit with exclusive indication (pomace from Sangiovese destined for Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, slow discontinuous steam distillation at low temperature, ageing 2–3 years in stainless steel or French oak): monovarietal Sangiovese as the signature spirit — intense and rounded with mineral and fruity tones (red berries), soft notes of cocoa, carob and walnut, persistent finish. 1–1. 5 hour cycles preserving the pure aromas of the grape variety.

The wine region of Tuscany

Kingdom of Sangiovese: upright reds with cherry, plum, dried herbs and leather, lively acidity and firm tannins. Fleshy, food-friendly Chianti Classico DOCG, deep long-ageing Brunello di Montalcino (spice, tobacco, ripe black fruit), elegant Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. On the coast, Bolgheri crafts the opulent Cabernet- and Merlot-based 'Super Tuscans'. Some fresh white Vernaccia.

The word of the wine: Caudalie

Unit of measurement corresponding to one second and allowing to quantify the aromatic persistence of a wine in mouth (length in mouth).
