Discover the grape variety: Bouysselet

Resulting from a natural intraspecific crossing between the Savagnin and the Cauzette plant, the latter being close to the Tannat. It should be noted that it has very often been confused with the Saint Côme, it is true that we have noted some points of resemblance. Bouysselet is very old in the Haute Garonne, more precisely in Villaudric, where it almost disappeared, but has now been replanted to the great satisfaction of connoisseurs. It is registered in the Official Catalogue of wine grape varieties, list A1.

The wine region of Fyn

The wine region of Fyn of Denmark. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Lilleø or the Domaine Nyholmgaard Vin produce mainly wines white, sparkling and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Fyn are Solaris, Pinot noir and Orion, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Fyn often reveals types of flavors of vegetal, citrus fruit or tree fruit and sometimes also flavors of black fruit.

The word of the wine: Botrytis cinerea

This fungus, also called noble rot, develops during the over-ripening phase and is an ally of great sweet white wines, when it concentrates the juice of the berries. It requires the humidity of morning fogs and beautiful sunny days, gives musts very rich in sugar and brings to the wines the famous taste of "roasted".
