It could also be found in the Galaure valley in the Drôme department as well as in Isère. It is said to be the mother of the raisin, another Ardèche grape variety. The wine region of Vino da Tavola
Vino da Tavola was the most basic classification of Italian wines. It is now renamed simply "Vino" and appears on labels as Vino d'Italia.
