The wine region of Bugey
Bugey is a wine region in the Ain department of eastern France. The Bugey appellation covers red, white, rosé and Sparkling wines from a range of Grape varieties. It is also possible to macerate after fermentation, but gently, so as not to extract the tannins from the seeds, which are greener. Because of its solvent power, alcohol favours extraction.
