This variety was obtained in the 19th century by Christian Oberlin, by crossing the madeleine angevine with the bouquettraube, registered in the Official Catalogue of vine varieties list A1. It should not be confused with the said Madeleine Angevine because its resemblance is strong, at least in its bunches. The wine region of Mukuzani is located in the region of Kakheti of Georgia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Winiveria or the Domaine Dugladze produce mainly wines red and white. A gentle and slow toasting has little effect on the aromas. On the other hand, a strong toasting gives aromas of coffee or cocoa which will influence the taste of the wine. A wine barrel has already been aged for a year and has less impact on the wine than a new barrel.
