This grape variety was originally cultivated in the south of Italy, in the region of Puglia to be precise. The wine region of Wairarapa is located in the region of North Island of New Zealand. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Whistling Track or the Domaine Schubert produce mainly wines white, red and pink.
