Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Henschke or the Domaine Henschke produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Eden Valley are Riesling, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Eden Valley often reveals types of flavors of pineapple, rubber or nectarine and sometimes also flavors of lemon peel, marmalade or cantaloupe.

The wine region of Australie du Sud

SouthAustralia is one of Australia's six states, located (as the name suggests) in the south of the vast island continent. It's the engine room of the Australian wine industry, responsible for about half of the country's total production each year. But there's more to the region than quantity - countless high-quality wines are produced here, most from the region's signature Grape, Shiraz. These include such fine, collectible wines as Penfolds Grange, Henschke Hill of Grace, Torbreck The Laird and d'Arenberg The Dead Arm.

The word of the wine: Cinsault

Cinsault is a southern black grape variety that can be found in the blends of most Mediterranean appellations, but most often as an accessory grape variety. It is undoubtedly most present in certain rosé wines (in Corbières, Côtes-de-Provence, etc.): it gives these wines highly appreciated aromas of strawberry, peach and raspberry. In vin de pays (IGP), it is often vinified on its own, usually as a rosé.
