Escherndorf is a winegrowing Village to the west of Franken/volkach">Volkach in Franken, Germany. Winemaking and viticulture has existed in the area for more than 1000 years. Escherndorfer Lump, located to the northeast of the village, is the top site due to its predominantly south-facing exposures.
