Variety obtained in 1845 by the Moreau-Robert company by crossing the frankenthal noir with the pinot blanc. It has not been propagated for a long time, which means that it is now in danger of disappearing. The wine region of Baden
Baden is the southernmost of Germany's 13 official wine regions. It is also the warmest.
