Structured, aromatic dry whites with a pale golden colour and a broad, crisp palate; signature aromas of white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach), white flowers and saline, iodine-tinged marine notes. Heroic Amalfi profile. Part of the heroic viticultural identity of the Amalfi coast terraces, representing a rare and confidential Campanian heritage. The wine region of Bizkaiko Txakolina

DO of the Spanish Basque Country (Biscay, ~250 ha), rainy oceanic climate, argilo-calcareous soils. Hondarrabi Zuri is the signature white king (~90%): dry and crisp with green apple, lemon zest, herbs, white flowers and a briny iodine touch, light natural perlant and lively acidity. Tradition of serving in cascade to aerate. Petit Courbu and Manseng as complements.

The wine region of El Pais Vasco

Spanish Basque Country (Euskadi) on the Cantabrian coast near Bilbao, humid oceanic climate. Hondarrabi Zuri is the signature white for Txakoli: dry, lively and slightly sparkling with citrus, green apple, white flowers and saline iodine notes, cutting acidity and low alcohol - poured from height to release the pétillant, the pintxos companion. Hondarrabi Beltza for light reds and crisp rosés. Three DOs: Getariako, Bizkaiko and Arabako Txakolina.

The word of the wine: Black Grenache

Grenache is a black grape variety that originated in Spain and is one of the great quality varieties of southern France. Sometimes vinified on its own, it is most often blended with one or more other Rhone or southern grape varieties with complementary qualities such as Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan or Cinsault. Its wines are warm, with aromas of red fruits (cherry) and spices; they oxidize with time. Vinified alone or in very large proportions, Grenache Noir also makes great natural sweet wines in Roussillon (Rivesaltes, Banyuls, Maury) and in the Rhône Valley (Rasteau).
