The wine region of Conthey

Grand Cru AOC commune of central Valais (terraces at the foot of the Haut de Cry), dry microclimate with Foehn winds favouring late-ripening varieties. Chasselas (Fendant) as the signature white — lively and mineral with citrus, white flowers and an alpine saline touch. Pinot Noir and Gamay (Dôle) as supple reds with red fruits and a spiced touch. Typed native varieties: Petite Arvine, Amigne, Humagne and Cornalin.

The wine region of Valais

Switzerland's largest vineyard, capital of native grapes. Straight, precise alpine whites: light, floral Chasselas (Fendant), signature Petite Arvine with saline, grapefruit and rhubarb notes, rich, apricoty Amigne, mineral Humagne Blanche. Altitude reds: fine Pinot Noir, crisp Gamay, native Cornalin and Humagne Rouge, spicy and deep. Highly precise alpine age-worthy wines.

The word of the wine: Shoulder

The upper part of the bottle located at the base of the shoulder-shaped neck.
