DOCG of Friuli Orientale (19 communes, ponca flysch alternating marls and calcareous sandstone, terraces 100-400 m, continental climate tempered by Adriatic and Julian Alps): exclusive Picolit (≥85%) in sweet white — signature aromas of flowers, honey and candied fruits, delicate unctuous concentration, refined bouquet of dried fruit, fresh and rich flavour, rare meditation wine. Natural floral abortion makes bunches sparse, dried grapes. DOCG since 2006.
