Pinot noir is an important red grape variety in Burgundy and Champagne, and its reputation is well known! Great wines such as the Domaine de la Romanée Conti elaborate their wines from this famous grape variety, and make it a great variety. When properly vinified, pinot noit produces red wines of great finesse, with a wide range of aromas depending on its advancement (fruit, undergrowth, leather). it is also the only red grape variety authorized in Alsace. Beaujolais Villages is the appellation for red, white and rosé wines from an area of 38 villages in the northern Beaujolais. As a result, Beaujolais Villages wines are considered to be of higher quality than those of the simple Beaujolais appellation. These juicy, light wines are based largely on the Gamay Grape.

Daou Family Estates in Paso Robles expands to Tuscany

The new Daou Family estate has yet to be named but the purchase includes 70 hectares of land and an old farmhouse called Coroglie.
