The wine region of Capay Valley is located in the region of Yolo County of Central Valley of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Casey Flat Ranch or the Domaine Casey Flat Ranch produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Capay Valley are Viognier, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet franc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Capay Valley often reveals types of flavors of earth, oak or black fruit and sometimes also flavors of non oak, microbio or spices.
In the mouth of Capay Valley is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 6 estates and châteaux in the of Capay Valley, producing 15 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Capay Valley go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or veal.
