Piedmontese DOC from the Langhe (Dogliani and 7 neighbouring communes, calcareous clay-sand terroirs, Dogliani DOCG since 2011 as Superiore): Dolcetto (100%) as the signature red — deep, silky, with intense blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, bitter almond and a refined vegetal-spice note, velvety tannins and fresh acidity, deeper profile than Dolcetto d'Alba. Dogliani DOCG selects the best plots, aged ≥6 months in wood. Reference producers: Einaudi and Chionetti.
