The wine region of Côtes de Rommani is located in the region of Rabat/Casablanca of Morocco. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine La Ferme Rouge or the Domaine La Ferme Rouge produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Côtes de Rommani are Viognier, Tempranillo and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Côtes de Rommani often reveals types of flavors of oaky, dried fruit or black fruits and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, tree fruit or nutty.
We currently count 1 estates and châteaux in the of Côtes de Rommani, producing 10 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Côtes de Rommani go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
The project began life in 2019 as a Facebook group, created by Graves-based winemaker Jean-Baptiste Duquesne of Château Cazebonne.
