The wine region of Pomino is located in the region of Toscane of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Castello Pomino or the Domaine Castello Pomino produce mainly wines sparkling, sweet and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Pomino are Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Pomino often reveals types of flavors of cherry, vegetal or dried fruit and sometimes also flavors of floral, citrus fruit or tree fruit.
In the mouth of Pomino is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Pomino, producing 9 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Pomino go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, vegetarian or appetizers and snacks.
