DOC of southern Trentino (1974, hillsides around Trento and Rovereto, temperate alpine climate). Merlot dominant (min. 50%): supple, fruity red with plum, red berries, cherry and a herbaceous-savoury edge. Schiava, Lagrein, Teroldego and Lambrusco Foglia Frastagliata (Enantio) in typical blends.
