The wine region of del Vastese is located in the region of Abruzzes of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Jasci & Marchesani or the Domaine Jasci & Marchesani produce mainly wines white, pink and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of del Vastese are Chardonnay, Pecorino and Riesling, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of del Vastese often reveals types of flavors of non oak, microbio or oak and sometimes also flavors of spices, tropical fruit or earth.
In the mouth of del Vastese is a powerful. We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of del Vastese, producing 9 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of del Vastese go well with generally quite well with dishes of shellfish, vegetarian or appetizers and snacks.
Clotilde Davenne, from the eponymous estate, mentions the cherry as a main characteristic of the Irancy appellation. She tells us about the Pinot Noir variety which reveals, in its northern location of Bourgogne, lots of freshness and fruitiness that gives the appellation a very special place among the wines of the region.
