The wine region of Southern Negev is located in the region of Negev of Israel. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Kerem Shezaf or the Domaine נאות סמדר produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Southern Negev are Malbec, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. In the mouth of Southern Negev is a powerful with a lot of tannins present in the mouth.
We currently count 2 estates and châteaux in the of Southern Negev, producing 3 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Southern Negev go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, spicy food or mature and hard cheese.
